Synopsis for "The World Tree Is Burning"
Thor and Daredevil are in a ship headed into the Sun, where Daredevil tells him that he hears screaming coming from the remains of Asgardia. Looking into the Sun, Thor sees Yggdrasil there, burning. Before, Thor had been flying all around the world, causing storms to stop Malekith's armies, and helping to defeat them around the planet. Malekith, having escaped the destruction of the Black Bifrost, is holding Odin and Freyja there, and challenges Thor to finish it, leading Thor to the Sun. Thor has Daredevil nail him to the tree in order to find the solution to Malekith's riddle. Meanwhile, in Asgard, Jane Foster picks up the remains of the War Thor's hammer, and screams.
