In Alfheim, the Light Elves are preparing to make a final stand as a Black Bifrost portal opens, but instead of Dark Elves, it's the Punisher that walks through. He tells them if they're ready for payback to come with him. In Asgard, the defenders there finish off the last of the Dark Elves, but it's too late, the Bifrost has been destroyed. In Svartalfheim, Freyja has claimed the Bitterblade and kills Bitterhand and continues to fight off the other Dark Elves, defending the Black Bifrost with only the Hulk by her side still. She sends the Hulk through the Black Bifrost and prepares herself to make a final stand. The Hulk arrives in Nidavellir and rallies the Dwarves of Nidavellir, while Blade does the same to the Vanir in Vanaheim, while Ghost Rider is in Niffleheim gathering the Spiders of Hel. In Jotunheim, the Strikeforce has rescued Thor and they all return back to Avengers Mountain. But the Mountain iteself is under siege. Shuri though has patched into the Mountains systems and uses its power to drive off the attackers. Odin has revived and is angry that they abandoned Freyja to the Dark Elves by herself and prepares to go to her. Meanwhile, Laufey and the Frost Giants are ravaging New York, while Malekith is at Stonehenge breaking the Venom symbiote. Iron Man and Screwbeard tell Odin to wait as they have something to help. In Svartalfheim, Malekith has returned and manages to bring Freyja down, when Odin arrives wearing the Iron All-Father Armor built for him. He and Freyja rally and destroy the Black Bifrost, apparently killing themselves as well as Malekith. Back in Avengers Mountain, Jane is rallying everyone when Thor enters telling them that he will be leading the assault.
