Synopsis for "Old Gods"

In a bar in Chelsea, Thor and Wolverine sit together drinking and discussing their favorite bars around the world, and how long they've lived. In the far future, the Phoenix and its newest host Wolverine, attack All-Father Thor because Thor resurrected the Earth when it should have remained dead, which caused something terrible to be attracted to it. They begin to fight brutally because Wolverine/Phoenix now has to go kill the Earth again. Elsewhere, Ego the Living Planet now possessed by All-Black the Necrosword heads out and consumes the last of the Acanti. But somewhere on its surface a small worm begins to taunt Ego. As Wolverine/Phoenix apparently kills Thor, on New Midgard the Goddesses of Thunder confront an enormous space ship that has arrived, when four enormous monsters step out. But they are just the heralds of an even greater danger - Doom, now possessing the Iron Fist, the Star Brand, Cloak of Levitation, the Eye of Agamotto and the power of the Spirit of Vengeance.
