Synopsis for "Resistance"

Davis, a young mutant with the power to induce accelerated aging, records a video journal denouncing Thor for his blasphemy against the Christian faith. meanwhile, Thor empowers a magical jewel that produces clean energy to replace a Cincinnati nuclear plant. Thialfi delivers a jewel fragment to Tony Stark to replicate. Later, Davis sneaks into the plant and uses his mutant power to age Thor's generator into rubble. The Absorbing Man, working for Thor, swiftly subdues him. In Asgard, Thor asks Davis to explain his actions. Davis scoffs at Thor's benevolence and claim of godhood. Set free by Thor, Davis infiltrates a Cleveland plant, also updated with a power jewel. He kills an Asgardian guard before destroying the generator. With Heimdall's aid, Thor tracks Davis to a forest. Davis, deliberately aged by his own powers, attacks Thor and dies. Heimdall finds Davis' camcorder and realizes that Davis recorded the encounter and broadcast it online to depict Thor as his murderer. Thor grimly considers the ramifications of Davis' martyrdom.
