Synopsis for "Reason"

As Zarrko stews in the Asgardian dungeon, Balder, Fandral and Hogun battle soldiers in the Middle East. In a Manhattan tenement, the Absorbing Man and Titania discuss Thor's rise to power. Creel reads a news article about Thor appearing at the UN and goes there. While surveying New York from Asgard, Loki stuns the Enchantress with his admiration for Thor's recent deeds. he tells her that Thor's concern for humanity's welfare will son evolve into a need to subjugate mankind. Alongside Sif and Thialfi, Thor arrives at the UN, answering any and all questions the delegates pose, with assuredness his actions are just. The Absorbing Man barges in, and to everyone's astonishment, swears fealty to Thor. Outside amongst Thor supporters, Jake Olson tries and fails to convince Balder of the error of Thor's actions. In his cell, Zarrko, gifted by his knowledge of the future, knows that Thor's benevolence will soon lead to disaster for mankind.
