Synopsis for "Holy War!"

Watching on TV, Sif sees that Thor is bleeding and races to his aid. During the battle, Crusader's shield repels Mjolnir. He then impales Thor with his sword, just as Sif arrives. Vowing to return and deal with Crusader, Sif teleports Thor to Asgard, where Odin heals him of his wounds. Odin explains that Crusader derives his power from his faith, while Thor's convictions have been shaken by the worship of the Thor cultists. He cautions Thor not to accept the mortals' worship since that time is long past. Thor and Sif return to Midgard, where Father Boylan is comforting the Thor cultists. When Crusader attacks him as a blasphemer, Father Boylan replies, "There's no greater blasphemy than the hatred you've been spewing." The crowd turns on Crusader. Thor arrives and easily defeats him, smashing his sword in the process. He then advises the cultists to seek spiritual guidance from men like Father Boylan. When he later enters his office as Don Blake, the private detective and a police officer confront him, wanting to question him about the murder of Jane Foster.
