Synopsis for "Infinite Destinies, Part Five"
In Alfheim, Highelf Everdrop is the caretaker of Qaoyak Tree. As he's tending to his duties, he is attacked by some sort of shadowy creature and replaced. Elsewhere, the Light Elves are preparing for the celebration commemorating the end of the War of the Realms. Thor, the other Asgardians, and the League of Realms arrive to attend the celebration. During the feast, Everdrop presents them with a gift of plants, but it was a trap. The buds knock everyone else out, but the plant presented to Thor, attaches something to his face, causing him to have hallucinations and nightmares. "Everdrop" reveals himself to really be Valg, an entity from another dimension that feeds to fear and anguish. Valg uses this to alter Thor's past, creating a variant named Thor Bor-Kin. A Thor that killed his Loki and went on to kill everything. Valg summons Thor Bor-Kin to the present, where he battles Thor. Thor, being the All-Father, uses his power to send this Thor back in time to before Valg corrupted him so that he could change his own past. As the others start to wake, Valg makes his escape.
