Synopsis for "Dream of a Godless Age"

On Chronux, Gorr goes several billion years into the past and kills an Elder God, bringing its still beating heart back to the present in order to engage the second step of his plan. Back in the past, Gorr has been torturing Thor for 17 days, and his resolve is weakening. He is finally rescued by the Vikings that had come with him, and even though Gorr kills several of them, they manage to distract Gorr long enough for Thor to deal him a deadly blow, severing Gorr's arm. Gorr manages to escape and in the present, Gorr enters the pool to begin a new level of deicide. Thor follows him into the pool and finds himself thousands of years in the future, where he finds what he thinks is his father fighting Black Beserkers. The two Thors drive the Beserkers back, and they are reabsorbed by Gorr. The future Thor tells his past self that he arrived at the same spot, only 900 years too late.
