History
Replica Model X-3 was but one of several such robots codenamed "Replicus" by their inventor, Chuda. Chuda represented an extraterrestrial force which had designs on Earth, but posed as a mere human inventor to gain the confidence of Slugger Sykes, a New York racketeer. Sykes sent Replicus on a number of operations to steal money and jewels. Thor finally set out to halt Replicus, but Replicus found him first, and proved able to hold its own in a battle with him. As Sykes watched the battle from Chuda's lair, he offered to buy Replicus from Chuda, but Chuda's only price was that Sykes help him distribute other Replicus models throughout the country. When Chuda revealed his intention to spread fear and chaos across America, Sykes was disgusted, believing that he was working with a foreign agent. Sykes turned on Chuda and tackled him, knocking them both into one of Chuda's machines. The machine exploded, destroying the entire building. Without Chuda's machines to guide it, Replicus deactivated while battling Thor.
Slugger Sykes' nephew obtained another Replicus mode, first using it to follow Slugger's footsteps, but he reformed and aided Thor against the Dark Gods.

- Replicus was a robot constructed from durable materials, and possessed superhuman strength enabling it to smash through steel. It could also fly, evade attacks by ricocheting itself against walls, and extend its fingers to wrap around its foes with a supposedly unbreakable grip. It wore a pouch on its chest to conceal stolen valuables
