Synopsis for "Sundown"

In flashback, we see Jane Foster asking Heimdall to send her to the Moon because she hears a voice in her head. There, she picks up Mjolnir and becomes Thor. Now in Asgardia, she fights Mangog and realizes why the Asgardians are so afraid of him. After managing to stop him for a minute, Odin, Freyja and the Odinson arrive and begin discussing abandoning Asgardia. Odinson realizes what her presence means and is upset, when the Mangog breaks free. She then begins battling Mangog anew while the Asgardians prepare to leave, forcing the Odinson to go with them. She hurls him into the Sun, but he manages to stop himself and renews his attack. She then uses the fetters once used to bind Fenris to entwine him, and then sends both Mjolnir and Mangog into the Sun, apparently destroying them both. The Odinson arrives by her side, not understanding why she just killed herself. Not knowing what to say, she tells him to just "say goodbye," and they kiss, with her dying in his arms. On the Moon, the Asgardians look up as their home is destroyed in the Sun as the Odinson lands carrying Jane's body.
