The Mighty Thor

I've examined you. I've reviewed your charts. It is my professional opinion, as both a doctor of medicine and a master of the mystic arts, that in your weakened, cancer-riddled state... you cannot survive another reverse-transformation. If you change into Thor... even one more time... there will be no coming back. Jane Foster will die.

Synopsis for "The Fall of Asgard"

The Odinson, Roz Solomon, Falcon and Doctor Strange stage an intervention for Jane Foster. After she passed out in Asgardia, the Odinson took her to Earth and checked her into a hospital. There, Doctor Strange examines her and determines that whenever Jane transformed into Thor, it undid all cancer treatments and exacerbated the situation. Her cancer is now throughout her body, eating her alive and even the most aggressive treatments may not do anything. If she changes into Thor just once more, it will be her last. Meanwhile, in Asgardia, the Mangog storms his way through everything and everyone. He breaks Heimdall's sword Hofund, and uses the jagged ends to gouge his eyes, blinding him. Cul wants to find something Mangog loves and kills it, but Mangog only loves killing Asgardians. Freyja enters the Destroyer herself to attack Mangog, but he mangles it, biting the head off. Back on Earth, Mjolnir arrives, but Jane agrees to submit to treatment and sends Mjolnir away, but on one condition. She "deputizes" them, and tells them they are now soldiers in the War of the Realms. Later, Logan comes to bring her flowers and leaves them at the desk without a card.
