In Old Asgard, Jane Foster meets with the Odinson to continue their discussion, after she revealed that she is Thor, she tells him that she doesn't know how much longer she can go as she has Stage Four cancer. Mjolnir crashes nearby and reveals to her the attack on Nidavellir. The Odinson is shocked to learn that she can hear it and it talks to her, as she moves towards it, she collapses and becomes unresponsive. Back in Nidavellir, a Firefly Rider crashes nearby and hurls a Maggot Bomb at Volstagg and the kids, killing the children and burning Volstagg. Later, Volstagg heads to Old Asgard, something calling to him, and when he picks up the Mjolnir from the other universe, he transforms into a new kind of Thor - the War Thor.
