Synopsis for "The Old Army Game"
In flashback, we see the history of Veirty Willis. She is the daughter of Roger Willis, whose family was tasked to protect the Casket of Ancient Winters. When she was still an infant, she swallowed Andvari's Ring, which was a magical ring that allowed its wearer to see through any lie, but was too dangerous to be worn constantly. Having swallowed it, and her body absorbing it, it is now a curse that she cannot turn off. In Asgardia, the Asgardians are using their stash of mortal weapons to try and fight off Hela and King Loki's army of the dead, bnd for each Asgardian that dies, they join Hela's army. Freyja realizes that there is only one thing that can be done, and knocking King Loki off of Jormungand, she sacrifices her own life to destroy him. Finally realizing her plan, Odin then summons the Gjallerhorn, and blowing it, summons all of Asgards heroes to her final defense, including Lorelei and Sigurd. Back on Earth, Loki has stolen Verity's soul and placed it in a ring in order to keep her safe from the end of the universe.
