The Mighty Thor

My power far exceeds that of mortal man! I have the speed and cunning of a serpent -- the deadly sting of the king cobra itself, coupled with the brain and cunning of a human being! And so I command you to obey my every order, or else feel my fatal sting!

Synopsis for "Challenged By the Human Cobra!"

Unswayed by Odin's admonition to forget Jane, Don Blake decides to travel. In India, he hears that his old mentor Professor Shecktor is dying of a cobra bite. Shecktor tells Thor how his assistant Klaus poisoned him and became a human cobra. Thor tracks the Cobra to a New York chemical plant where he plans to manufacture cobra serum and create a super-powered army. Thor inadvertently releases gas vapors during the fight, allowing the Cobra to escape to Dr. Andrews' office where he demands "serums." Frightened, Andrews agrees to cooperate. Jane, disgusted by Andrews' cowardice, throws a beaker through a window, attracting Thor's attention. The Cobra kidnaps Jane. Thor rescues her, but the Cobra escapes. Afterward, Jane quits her job with Andrews and returns to Dr. Blake.
