Synopsis for "The Demon Duplicators!"

Thor attends Professor Zaxton's demonstration of Don Blake's nearly indestructible genius robot. Suddenly, the android announces that he will self-destruct since Zaxton has twisted all the dials at once. Thor tosses the android into the air where it explodes. Later, Zaxton confronts Don in his office, revealing that he deliberately destroyed the android and has taken Jane Foster prisoner. He demands Blake's help in perfecting his duplicating machine so that it will copy living beings as well as inorganic objects. Don agrees and quickly succeeds, then slips away to become Thor. Zaxton witnesses his transformation, learning Blake's secret, and duplicates Thor, revealing that the duplicates have the opposite personality of the original. Thor and the duplicate battle, with Zaxton providing duplications of Mjolnir, a building, airplanes, and another Thor to aid his creation. The duplicate finally strikes Thor with 2 hammers but they have no effect because, Thor realizes, the duplicate is unworthy of the hammers. Witnessing his duplicate's defeat, a panicked Zaxton duplicates himself to confuse Thor but falls off a bridge and dies. Realizing the duplicate Zaxton is good where the original was evil, Thor allows him to surreptitiously take Zaxton's place.
