Synopsis for "To Kill a Thunder God!"

Thor stops to examine the Stones to make sure none are lost. Loki then uses that moment to strike. He causes a renegade hunter to see Thor and knocks him out with an anesthetic shell. Loki then causes Asgardian relics to be found around the hunter's camp. This causes the hunter to go off looking for more treasure. He is then led by Loki to the Temple of Darkness, where he discovers the Destroyer. Thor wakes up and follows, and discovers that the hunter's life force has activated the Destroyer. Thor begins attacking, but realizes the Destroyer can also lift Mjolnir. Loki, watching, realizes that he has outdone himself. If the Destroyer kills Thor, then Odin will surely take a terrible vengeance. He goes to wake Odin, but the guards prevent him from entering. The Destroyer relentlessly attacks Thor, then molecularly traps him in the floor. Loki is trapped in the Dungeon of No Escape, unable to do anything, while the Destroyer fires a bolt of elemental destructive force at the trapped Thor.

Synopsis for "The Crimson Hand!"

Preparing for the quest, Morduk gives Thor a map of the unknown and the Crimson Hand, a glove that forces anyone who touches its palm to tell the truth. Loki introduces Thor to Braggi whom he has appointed overseer of the crew. When Thor, wearing the glove, shakes hands with him, Braggi admits he is planning Thor's death. Thor defeats Braggi. Loki feigns ignorance of the scheme, but, seeing the Crimson Hand, refuses to shake with Thor. The crew boards their ship to begin the quest.
