Synopsis for "Slave of Zarrko, the Tomorrow Man!"

Thor and Zarrko arrive in the 23rd century; Thor having agreed to do Zarrko's bidding until the Tomorrow Man rules the world. Following Zarrko's instructions, Thor disrupts electrical systems and subdues the techni-guards. At World Council headquarters, Thor defeats the octi-robot, forcing the Council to tell Zarrko the location of the Master Robot that controls Earth. At the Master Robot's island, Thor destroys the c-bomb and provides Zarrko with access to the Master Robot. having given Zarrko the means to rule the Earth, Thor fulfills his vow and subsequently attacks Zarrko, distracting him from the Master Robot which allows it to capture the Tomorrow Man in an energy matter ball. The Council takes Zarrko away. Odin praises Thor's methods while Loki vows to defeat Thor yet.

Synopsis for "Death Comes to Thor!"

Thor visits the Fates to see how he can earn Mjolnir. They tell him he must meet death first. Soon after, a wounded Balder tells him the Storm Giants have kidnapped Sif. Enraged, Thor lifts Mjolnir without thinking and wields it in battle, defeating the Storm Giants, whose king, Rugga, has delivered Sif to Hela the death goddess. Journeying to Hela's land, Thor offers himself in Sif's place. Touched by the offer, Hela lets them both go.
