Synopsis for "The Unworthy Thor & the Mighty Thor"
Thor Odinson is in Asgard, trying to lift Mjolnir, when his father Odin enters and tells him to stop trying and get ready for the arrival of a party of Vanir. While they are waiting, Thor hears a prayer to him and leaves to investigate. He finds a party of Vikings that have traveled all the way to the Nile in Egypt, but are now confronted by Clan Akkaba and and Apocalypse. Thor is extremely happy to see Apocalypse again,[1] but before the battle truly begins, and enormous bolt of lightning strikes and Jane Foster has arrived, but is unsure how or why. Thor Odinson is confused as to why a woman is calling herself Thor and wielding Mjolnir, but they both agree that Apocalypse needs to be smited first. The Thors fight vigorously, and during the battle, Thor Odinson inspires the Vikings that follow him, reminding Jane Foster of why she fights as Thor. At one point, she is knocked from the battle and is confronted by Loki, who reveals that it was him that guided the Vikings to this land in order to coax Thor out of Asgard. Together, the Thors defeat Apocalypse and Thor Odinson steals the nose from the Sphinx and they head back to the Vikings village. Jane Foster thanks him for reminder her why she does what she does, and before she can say anymore, she promptly disappears as quickly as she appeared. Back in Asgard, he tries to lift Mjolnir a little more, while his father Odin is out in space, speaking to the Phoenix, remembering when they were lovers.
