Synopsis for "To Become an Immortal!"
Thor takes Jane to Asgard to meet Odin. When they arrive they first meet a group of warriors with a captured Troll and Heimdall. Jane is frightened and startled by the strange sights that greet her. She then meets Odin and he transforms her into a goddess and grants her the gift of flight. She flies around, but falters and falls when she begins to doubt that it's real. Odin then deigns to test Jane and orders his men to summon the Unknown. Jane is locked in a chamber with the Unknown. Jane gives into her blind terror and cries out to Thor. Thor breaks in and drives the Unknown off. Jane tells them that she refuses to stay in this place of madness. Odin agrees and transports her back to Earth. In his grief, Thor rages against Odin. Odin puts him in his place. Odin then relents, and orders Thor to Gundershelm to guard the Glade of Crystals from the Unknown, which is now loose. Odin instantly transports Thor there, but he is too late to stop a Troll from summoning the Unknown. Back on Earth, Jane has appeared in a hospital somewhere on the west coast. There, she has no memory of Thor or Don Blake, and she begins working for Dr Keith Kincaid. Thor, being heartsick, is not focusing on the battle, and doesn't have the will to win. Just then, someone else strikes at the Unknown, telling Thor to get up and fight or both their lives are forfeit. They defeat the beast and Thor finally sees who helped him - it is the lady Sif. They walk off hand in hand as Odin had hoped.

Synopsis for "There Shall Come a Miracle!"
Thor uses Mjolnir to create a chasm, sending Fafnir falling far below, defeating him. They then free Volstagg and return to Asgard. After they leave, Odin causes it to rain in Nastrond, restoring life to the land.
